Try to avoid Techbus otherwise your journey can be challenging with many unexpected circumstances. Generally is a scam, you won't get what they offer. Our bus came 2 hours late. We tried to call and text operator of bus company but only response was full ignorance. After bus arrived driver was rude throwing out backpacks so mind your stuff. Company shows big seats for sleeping but reality is somewhere completely else. They make those seats for people size of kids so 0 chance to sleep and feel a bit comfortable. We arrived 2 hours earlier with no breaks for several hours journey, and they have dropped us on wrong point just 1.5 hours walking to actual point. That was clearly scam because outside was a guy "waiting" for us to call taxi for some extra money. Clearly driver made deals on side. But 4 am morning you just want something like that to be finish. Avoid !!!

Les chauffeurs sont excessivement désagréables, ils conduisent vraiment n’importe comment, et la cerise sur le gâteau: on me rend mon sac à dos qui était dans la soute du car totalement inondé avec une odeur de poisson. Même pas un mot d’excuse, on me l’a jeté par terre comme si j’étais un chien alors que l’entièreté de mes affaires pour mon mois de backpacking était innondé. Quand j’ai contacté l’agence pour demander un geste, on m’a proposé de me rembourser 5€ sur mon billet, alors que ce n’est même pas le 1/4 du prix de mon billet. Scandaleux.

I would give zero star. The bus is dirty and despite booking a month prior and reaching early he gave us the last seat the both times and didnt listen at all. The staff is non cooperative and they depart early without informing and stop here and there which makes the journey 14-15 hours of sheer torture and i also found the staff drunk

We booked a vip bus from Hanoi to Vientiane which cost each of us £40. We took a taxi from the office to a bus station outside of Hanoi. The taxi was organised by the company and was 30 minutes late. It was only the three member of our group in this taxi. The taxi driver dropped us off without a word of where to go. A woman helped us and told us where our bus was. The bus was not VIP and had ripped sticky seats. Our bags were put onto the back seats and we were told to wait for two hours until the bus left. We complained to the company about our bus not being VIP and they claimed that the original bus had an issue so refunded us each only £3. Along the journey we picked up more passengers who eventually couldn’t fit onto the bus and had to lay on the floor. This was due to the bus being full of boxes and packages. The driver tried to take our bags off the bus to put onto the roof where they would get wet. When we told him no and said we would keep our bags on our laps, he got very angry and started hitting my friends seat repeatedly whilst shouting. A man was given women’s clothing to substitute the lack of blankets. We stopped for a toilet only twice in the entire 26 hour journey. The bus was smelly and dirty and the driver was so unhelpful. We even tried to communicate via Google translate but he brushed us off. He would not allow us back into the bus once we crossed the boarder and laughed in our faces. Once we arrive at our destination he took half an hour of unloading boxes before getting our bags for us as our taxi driver had to ask him. Would not recommend was the worst experience of my life.

The driver of the bus was dissrespectful to me. He put his arm on my shoulder and press against him, asked for a selfie I replied no.
Later when I left the bus I say it's my stop I stend up and he volontary make a speed up who made me fell with my bagpack and I hurt my wrist against the armrest. I have presently a bruise and that start to swell.
When I stend up we was laughting and finnally when I left he make a noisy imitation with his mouth of multiples kiss towards me.
I don't find that normal for a bus compagny to do this kind of service at people.
I wish the compagny will pay more attention at whish driver they hire and I wish that will never happened again at an other girl

Nada recomendable. El autobús salió una hora tarde de la Estación de Hanoi.Nos recibieron varios hombres que acompañaban al conductor, a uno de ellos le enseñamos los billetes y le dijimos nuestro destino final. Durante todo el viaje,paraban continuamente para recoger y dejar paquetes. Además de fue sumando a que ya no había ningún asiento disponible y metieron a más de 10 personas en los pasillos,por lo que los que estábamos en el asiento de en medio,teníamos los brazos piernas,y hasta cabeza de los que estaban en los pasillos. En el viaje los que estaban en los pasillos empezaron a grabarnos y a subir los vídeos a sus redes sociales. Uno de ellos puso su cabeza pegada a la mía mientras se grababa invadiendo mi espacio corporal y resultando bastante violento. El conductor no cambió en todo el trayecto desde Hanoi a Mu Cang Chai. Durante el trayecto uno de la compañía nos pidió más dinero diciendo que sólo teníamos 1 billete, con actitud muy violenta. Le volvimos a enseñar los 2.

First of all the bus arrived 1h20min late. When we enteren we discovered that there were no seats for us. The bus was full of people that were not supposed to be there. 3 were woken up to go and lay on the floor bur the 4th person of the group did not get a bed at all and had to sleep on the floor as wel. At the next stop the buss picked up more deliveries which ment that the toetist baggadge went on the roof and the chicken and salad crobs were placed in the luggage area. Drivers drove like crazy. With all the people on the floor bedroom breaks were hard to come by. Would not reccoment. When we asked for a refund for the person that had to sleep on the floor communications went silent.
